I saw this question in my research. Let me ask you, do you think we’ll be more “online” in the future or less online? If you think we’ll be more “digital” then yes, Digital Marketing is the future. If not then… no. Really, not sure why this question is getting asked so many times. (Yes, is the answer).
That being said there are still opportunities in traditional marketing. As the usage of those channels goes down your marketing can stand out. Postcards are a good example of this. Whereas advertising in newspapers won’t likely make a cycle back.

The overall “strategies” if you peel away the “digital” part of it, are the same. Copywriting and direct marketing techniques work well online and off.
